Is it normal for some temps to be above coverline in the pre-o phase? And does my chart appear ovulatory?

This is my first chart. I used OPKs to conceive my son, but I thought I'd give BBT a try.

I had a +OPK on CD 10 and a thermal shift . I also have a poll as to whether or not I ovulated and someone chose anovulatory.

I have a sleep disorder so it may contribute. However, I do get 3-4 hours of sleep prior to taking my temp at the same time each day.

Just wondering if this appears ovulatory? And are temps above coverline "bad"?

Hi! Welcome to the Fertility Charting board! We would love it if you stuck around with us. We have a lot of newbie charters over here and everyone is very good at answering questions here.

I think your coverline and your o date are marked incorrectly. Fertility Friend does some dumb things sometimes. I think CD12 looks more accurate for your o date. I have no idea why FF drew your coverline so low. I would try changing your analysis method to the Fertility Awareness method, I find it more accurate. To do that go to analysis then Tunining/Override and select Fertility Awareness method.

On CD 12 your temp went up but it still was in the same range as your other preo temps. You want it to be higher than your last six preo temps. That doesn't happen until CD13. I think CD12 looks more like your o date.

And let me also extend a to you!! I'm Nikki

We have been getting lots of new girls here lately... so you've got loads of other learners to keep you company!!

If you haven't done so yet, I recommend picking up a copy of Taking Charge of Your Fertility. It's a great book to have. It teaches you loads about your menstrual cycle and all of the things your body does that no one ever taught us in health class!

I hope you'll stay with us and allow us to help you navigate your way through the charting process and on your way to your BFP!!

Ditto on reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility. It is one of the best books out there on fertility charting.
