are there any tips to the JM boards?

Mine tends to load really slowly, while other sites are fast - anything I can do?
Is there an easy way to mark threads as favorites (and sort by that), or see which ones I've posted in?

anything else?

I'm used to another board I used to go to, but you guys are so much cooler! lol!!!

I don't know about making it load faster, but as far as seeing where you've posted, simply go to the User CP just below the green writing above (the green writing is wherever you are, for instance I'm in the thread "Since I'm going to be hanging around here...") and there you will see all of the boards that you've recently commented on. Also too, while at the User CP you can choose Edit Options and then under Default Topic Subscription Mode you can decide if you want to be notified by email (as well as how often to be notified) about any responses to the threads you are subscribed to. (The subscribed threads are the threads that you've posted in.)

It is not you. We are having some performance issues. We made some updates to the server last week that should help some but we still have another big update we are doing soon (I hope) that should make a big difference with the data base errors and speed of the site.

One tip I do have is try using Google Chrome for your browser. JM loads much faster in Chrome to me.
