I'm on day 33 of my screwed up cycle. Last cycle I ovulated on day 31, so I thought this one should be similar. I've been doing opks since day 11 LOL. I ran out of the 20 I bought on ebay so I had to get new ones! I had a very dark line on day 18 but not quite positive. The next day it went back to being light. Yesterday again it was getting pretty dark, I'm thinking this is it! Today, light! Ugh! What is up with me, ovulate already LOL I'm trying to laugh it off but it's getting disappointing. At least I have two more weeks of being with DF before I have to go back.

I know how you feel!!
When do you usually test? I was using FMU and was getting light lines, then someone on here convinced me to try doing it later in the day. Friday night I tested around 10:30PM after about 2 hour wait and it was dark. I consider it a positive because 50% of the line was as dark as the control line.

Thanks Candace, I need all the dust I can get hehehe. Well, I test around 1pm, give or take a few mins. One thing I noticed is that my lines are thicker when my urine is not much diluted, like if I'm able to hold it in and to a second urine test around 1. But sometimes that is impossible, especially when I get up early and drink lots. I will try again tonight and see what happens and try to hold my pee for longer this time

I *think* they said between 10-6 is the most ideal times....but I would just do what works for you. GL and let us know how tonight works.

I know how you feel! It takes my body forever to O! I had made the mistake of using first moring pee and had the hardest time catching my surge. But I have read that the best time to do it is between 2PM and 2:30PM without having anything to drink for 2 hours prior. I really hope you O soon-good luck!

Update: Tested again while holding pee and still light line. I only have one more for tomorrow. I am not buying any more! LOL
