So, we have been having a lot going on for quite a while now. I haven't charted at all this entire cycle. Maybe, since we've not really been trying, I will get some results. lol

Anyhow, on the 19th, my mom's best friend lost her step-daughter to an overdose. So, we had all that going on with the services, and just being with the family for a while. Then, on the 28th, Jerrod's 2nd Mom was in an explosion at work. We have been at the hospital with her ever since, really. It has been one long roller-coaster up there. She has gotten better, and then went downhill again. They were going to pull the plug on her yesterday. We all had everything prepared for it...it was a sure thing really....

But when we all woke up yesterday, the doctors called and said her blood levels had gone back up to where they were last week...so that meant they could try dialysis, which would put her at a 5% chance of making it...I know it doesn't seem like much, but really it is to us. They told us on Saturday she didn't even have a 1% chance, so yeah...this is BIG!! It's like a miracle at the exact last minute. It's amazing, and we all have hope as of right now.

We have been home a couple times. This is our 3rd time coming home. It seems like as soon as we get here, we get a call to hurry back. I am praying that we won't get that call again. But, it's still more likely than not, and I hate that. She has 2 boys who are 20 and 15. Her husband just died 2 years ago in a freak accident at work, also...so they already have no father. I just keep telling myself, she won't leave her babies. Ugh! It is nuts here!!

Another thing, while we were up there, my uncle had a massive heart attack, so when I came home last time I was visiting him at a local hospital. It's just been one thing after the other lately and I need a break!!

Oh my gosh, I think I know how you feel. Our family has been dealing with never ending downhills and it's not fun. Hope things improve quickly
