So my 8 year old niece is here visiting with us before she goes back to the UK and she is sleeping in our future nursery which has a cradle and baby swing in it already.

When she was here 2 weeks ago, she noticed the cradle and swing and said "Is this a baby's room? Are you pregnant?" I laughed at her and she asked me why I was laughing... I told her just the way she said it that she was so smart. She replied "Well, it's not like I've never been to school." Like "Duh"

So she actually said to me last night when I was getting the bed ready for her with sheets and stuff "I can't wait to see a baby in here!" I said "Me too sweetie."

Yeah... she's pretty awesome! It's crazy how she's become like, this little... person! I mean, I remember when she was a one year old baby!! Now she's like, this whole person... with her own thoughts and ideas and it's just amazing!
