What does it feel like for each of you? Last evening I had this brief sharp pain where my left ovary is. It was very brief, like a second and then nothing. I'm wondering if that could be O pain.

IT could be because according to your CM it looks like your body MAY be trying to O. GL!!

I have terrible o pains. I think that mine are worse because of my ectopic though. I am not sure why but ever since I had my tube removed my o pains have been very noticeable. I have very sharp pains and usually I get them on both sides now. I used to only notice them on one side or the other. The nurse told me that my egg could hop over to the other tube so I wonder if that is why I feel it on both sides.

Or maybe it is just because I am getting old. Or maybe this is why my AFs are so terrible. I don't know but I get unmistakeable o pains. They hurt too.

I hope you're right Candace We'll see what my temp does tomorrow

I've never had horrible o pains, the only thing is they are sharp, but they don't last too long. Although sometimes in the middle of the night, if I'm laying on one side, and I want to turn onto the other side, I feel a dull pain around my ovaries as I'm turning, like something is hanging off of the ovary. I could never figure out why that feels like that, but I think it may be that it's a cyst.

For me, O pains are usually on the right and they are like a dull ache that starts where I think my ovary is and sometimes extend all the way to my hip. This ache is accompanied by sharp pains in my ovary (usually the right) that come and go but don't last to long. Usually I experience this for a least four days before I ovulate.

Also, I agree with Candace, according your CM it looks like you might be O'ing soon. Good Luck!

For me I get either a cramp or a pinching/stabbing/twingy type sensation. I use so many words because some months it's worse than others. It used to be that if felt like someone gave my ovary a light pinch, not painful, but I definitely noticed it and it only lasted for a second. But now I sometimes cramp or feel like I'm being poked by an ice pick for a moment. Not very painful, but definitely more noticeable than the pinching. Again, it doesn't last but for a minute and it's over.

Mine usually happens on my left side. It feels like a sharp stabbing pain to me and it's much worse if I cough, sneeze or laugh really hard.
