So after this morning's temperature, FF AGAIN took away my cross hairs. It's now telling me, "Note: Your chart data does not allow ovulation to be pinpointed to within a 24 hour time frame.
Your temperature suggests, however, that ovulation may have occurred between CD 24 and CD 52."
Wow, thanks for the help there, FF! LOL Seriously, last night when I wiped I had a bit of pink on the toilet paper and an even lesser amount this morning, but I think AF will rear her ugly head sometime today. (Although normally when it starts, it starts.)
Of course AF showing today means that I might have had a shorter luteal phase if I O'd on CD47. The last two months were 13 days, this one seems to have been 11.
Well, it's on to a new cycle! And I get to have SUSHI!!!!!!

I'm sorry if AF is about to show.
@ FF! That note isn't particularly helpful. LOL!
Yeah... unfortunately I can't quite pinpoint where it for sure happened either. I know, for myself... and quite probably for FF as well, the difficulty comes in because all it's going on is temps. There's no CM or CP data to correlate to any particular temp, ya know?
Like if I saw watery CM for a few days followed by one of your temp drops, then it changes to creamy and goes back up and that pattern kind of repeats... then we'd be able to see that it would appear your body tried to ovulate, but couldn't get it going for whatever reason, kwim?
I'd really recommend adding that info to your chart, it will not only help us when we're trying to decipher temps and their meaning... but it will also enable FF to give you more accurate and substantial information.
YAY for getting to have sushi!!

I'm sorry that you think AF is about to show. But on to next cycle, then, right! But you don't think this could be IB and implantation drop do you?

Nikki, I did have CM, etc. on my chart but took it off (added it back on, added SOME things back on, etc.) just to see if it changed anything but it didn't. LOL The last time that I had EW or watery CM was around CD40. Since then it's been sticky or creamy (mostly lotiony like and lots of it.)
Btw, I haven't started yet. Sorry for TMI here, but last night at about 11:30 when I wiped I had a streak of pink on the toilet paper so I figured AF would show. I woke up this morning and there was nothing on the pad, but it's not uncommon when I have a light flow to not bleed out when I'm laying down. Throughout the day today I've had like 3 spots of brownish discharge when I wipe, but that's it. I don't feel like AF is about to show either. I've had some cramping, but it's not AF cramps, they are very milder & feel different, so I don't have a clue as to what's going on. Like I said, the timing doesn't match any of my peaks for this to be AF showing because I'm either late or early at this point. I just don't know.
My uterus sucks this month. LOL

FF can annoy me too but generally I have pretty easy to read charts. Here's a thought. I don't think your o date could possibly be CD40 because your corpus luteum only survives for around 12 to maybe 16 days at the longest. I think an 18 day luteal phase just wouldn't make sense.
So, lets say you ovulated on CD 47. I know that may not make sense to you based on CM but your temps show a definite shift on CD 47. That would put you at 11dpo. If that is the case, the spotting you are having could be implantation spotting. It might be on the late side for implantation but if you started having some yesterday and then today it turned brown it makes sense to me that it could be.
I hope your temp goes back up tomorrow!
Sending you some stay away AF vibes!!!

Patty, I definitely agree that CD 40 that FF originally targeted wasn't the correct day. LOL I have only been charting for a short time but this was the first time I'd seen two shifts in my pattern. Before it was just one shift up after O and then it dropped a good bit over the course of a couple of days just before AF showed. Of course it would figure that last night was the most fitful, restless night I'd had in a while. Even DH commented about my sleeping (or lack thereof) last night. He said that even when I was asleep, all I did was toss and turn the whole night. One minute I'd be bundled up under the covers like it was the dead of winter and the next I was kicking everything off of me because I was hot. LOL
I'm definitely not going to get my hopes up that this is I.B. (putting periods in that because when I don't I get a funny face there LOL). But if that's what it turns out to be then that's fine by me!! In the meanwhile, I'll be holding out on that sushi, just in case.

Btw, if this is implantation bleeding and AF doesn't show, when should I test again?

If it is implantation I would try to wait two days before you test again. Usually it takes 2 to 3 days after implantation to get a bfp. I REALLY hope that it is IB (I've never had that turned to a smiley before. interesting. I think you must have your board settings different than mine.) and not AF but I understand why you are not getting your hopes up.

You can change your board settings? I did not know this!
Well this evening I went to the grocery store and when I came in with groceries, I lifted the bags up to set them on the counter (I had bags in each hand) and lost my balance. I ended up hitting my stomach (right across where my uterus is) along the edge of the counter and immediately started cramping and within a few minutes started bleeding. Coincidence? Most likely, but of course my first thought went to the one of "What if?".
