Anyone have any ideas? It lightened up around cd 7, so I thought AF was on her way out.... but i'm cd 10 and still lightly bleeding. I've never had an AF this long before.... Even my m/c wasn't this long.... I don't know whats going on.

I had some trouble with extra-long AFs after my m/c's too. I always felt that it took my body about 3 cycles to get back to normal after a m/c. Hope the witch goes away soon! If AF lasts too much longer, I'd give my Dr a call. It never hurts to ask a nurse questions, that's what they're there for.

My AFs have been like this for a while. I do wonder if my ectopic had something to do with it. I always have 10-11 day long AFs it seems. I think I might give yourself one more cycle and if it is like this next month I would call your doc.

That sounds like more bleeding than normal. My AFs last that long but the last few days are just light spotting, not gushing. I think I might just give your doc a call, especially since this is not normal for you.

Now when i say gush, its a gush of old snotty swamp brown crap the likes of which i've never seen. I have occasional break through red bleeding but for the most part, it's swamp sludge. (sorry... really the only way to properly describe it) I'm going to give it a full 2 weeks, because a m/c info site i went to said that it can be normal to have a really funky period, the first time after m/c. However with the starting and stopping and pieces of tissue, it could very well be that i need a d&c to clean the engine so to speak. I'm going to give it a little more time, but i'm glad you ladies are letting me complain. I bought some pretty tie-dyed cloth pads to make myself feel better. This is my first AF with absolutley no paper products.

I think you could be right. I have heavy AFs regularly and I still haven't seen my doc. (I probably should too. My annual is due for September so I will probably deal with it then.)
Tie dyed pads pretty cool. I have used left over cloth diapers before but I don't have any now.

Coley- I bought these from Homestead Emporium on Hyena Cart. You should check out all the stores there. All sorts of natural products. Hyena Cart :: A collection of earth-friendly shops
