I am a newbie on the board and a newbie to BBT. I had asked some questions earlier about BBT confirming my OPK with BBT - I had missed some temps around O.

All of you were really helpful and told me it looks like I did ovulate. Well, I certainly did.

I got a positive today (9dpo - coincidentally the same dpo I got a + with my son).

Chart.
283074 Ovulation Charts

Test (unfortunately, the line is pretty faint so I couldn't get a good pic of it - so I had to put black marks where the line is - lol)

Thank you all so much for helping me! Good luck to all!

Everyone hear has been so sweet. I was spastic with BBT and I got great advice.

I'm going to ask 1 more question.

Should BBT chart while pregnant? I feel as if I saw temps dropping I'd automatically assume miscarriage ... even though there are obviously many causes.

Did anyone do it, risks/benefits?

I did not do it because it was to much stress and I always worried about a M/C and I did not want to get up early anymore It is up to you if you want to I see some people do it for a few weeks but I think it is just more stress so I will not do it. Good Luck.

Yeah. My thoughts exactly. I stressed a lot anyway when I was pregnant with my son. No need to add an additional issue.

Awww..congrats! The ladies here are great and helped me a ton too. I got my BFP last Friday and I'm still checking in and posting here because I want to keep up with everyone!

I also asked the same question about temping after a BFP and everyone for the most part said don't do it. I took it 2 days after my BFP just to check and it was really high, haven't taken it since. (Although I have POAS about 5 times, lol!)

Congratulations on your BFP!! That's so great! And that's one heck of an implantation dip on your chart. Wow! Btw, I personally would not worry about temping during pregnancy because even pregnant women get temperature dips. Seeing those temp dips would cause you undo worry and stress, because even though it may be perfectly normal, the stress you feel from seeing a low temp might just be what causes a problem. So just enjoy your sleep and don't worry about popping a cold thermometer in your mouth (or anywhere else) first thing in the morning.

Thanks. I'm going to take everyone's advice and not chart anymore.

It really was a huge implantation dip. I had a hard time ignoring it - and a hard time ignoring it was going towards triphasic!

Congratulations! That is such great news. If I get my bfp I will probably chart for a couple weeks (I think) but I haven't made up my mind about that. I may just quit as soon as I get my bfp. I think it may just cause me to worry but I think I will worry anyway that is why I may chart for a week or two after anyway.
