Have any of you ladies ever heard of a way to tell which ovary you O from? I've read some things that say you swap back & forth and other things saying that is just an old wives tale.
I'm asking because I lost my left tube with an ectopic pregnancy. I always wonder because I feel like I shouldn't get my hopes up. I never have O pains. Even when my chart looks great, I still have no idea if the eggy can even get to where it needs to be.

I've read that it's totally random which ovary releases the egg. I don't think there's a way for us to tell which one (maybe w/ u/s though?). Although maybe if you do get the ovulation pains on one side it would be that side? I don't know. I always get AF cramps on my left side, and when I get the O pains, they are always on the left too.

Another one tube wonder over here but I lost my right tube. I can often tell what side I ovulate on (or I should say I think I can tell). I feel o pains on one side or the other but when I ovulate on my right side I tend to feel o pains on both sides. The nurse told me the egg can hop over to the other tube so I wonder if that is why I feel it on both sides.

I think I ovulate on my right side more than my left.

I usually feel O pains on my left side... I am hard pressed to remember the last time I felt something on my right side. This month, I didn't feel my usual O pains... so maybe it was the right side this month.
