I feel like I never get to have a whole day of loafing. Of course, the truth is a lot of this is my own doing. I am the type that always feels the need to be doing something. If I sit around for more than an hour or so I will start feeling guilty and feel the need to go do something productive. I think this is why I am looking forward to my vacation. If I am traveling I won't really have a choice but to relax.

I try to schedule my lazy days. Like I will choose a day or two of the week to get all of my stuff done... vacuuming, dusting, laundry, etc. Then all I have to worry about the other days is cooking dinner. That way I can take some lazy me time and not feel like I'm totally slacking.

But our joint lazy day has always been Sunday. Most everyone knows not to ask us to do much on Sundays because that's our lazy day together.

Whenever my daughter takes a nap I totally just sit and do nothing.. read.. tv.. or internet.. etc
When she's up I work on teaching her stuff or getting her out of the house. So it feels Like I am on the go a lot. We get too bored just sitting around!!
Which is why I want #2 so we have another baby in the house to entertain me and dd LOL

Ok, I don't want to sound spoiled in this, but I can get lazy days pretty much any time now. And yes, I am enjoying while I can because I know that this won't always be the case. However, I can't have a lazy day if I don't have my house cleaned. I never feel relaxed unless my work is done, so I do like Nikki and try to get it all done at once so that I don't have to worry about having any big cleaning to do each day. That way the only things I need to worry about on lazy days are meals and dishes.

Lately there haven't been too many lazy days. When J is napping...I'll take some time for myself...but usually I have grad school stuff to work on or stuff to do for work.

Those of us that are TTC #1 should totally be enjoying our lazy days now... because once we've got a little one at home... the lazy days will be few and far between I reckon. LOL!!
