Now that I've got my BFP, should I continue to take my temp? Can it tell me anything about the pregnancy, like if I'm losing the baby?

I've heard enough women say to step away from the thermometer.

Temps can go up and down during pregnancy and have there be nothing wrong. But most people do start to worry and stress if they see their temp go down, so it's better to put the thermometer away, be glad you don't have to keep waking up early to temp anymore and allow yourself to enjoy your pregnancy.

You don't want to give yourself anything to stress unneccesarily about, kwim?

I kept temping for about 5 days after my BFP.. until one day it went down (only about .2 or something) but I was so nervous that entire day. I said that's enough and put it away. No need for unnecessary stress

I did not temp after I got my BFP. I would not do it because I did not want any added stress. I am so happy for you.

I think it is probably good to avoid the stress and stop temping.

I could not tell by my temps that I was going to have a miscarriage before it started but it did help me confirm that I was m/c once I started spotting. (my temp started dropping at the same time)

Yup, I stopped temping b/c I'm a nervous nelly...didn't need to make it worse! But I won't admit how many times I POAS after though!
