This is the first cycle I have ever tried temping so of course I have questions. Most of them are being answered just by lurking. I would like to know... when your temp is dropping because of af is it an immediate drop of one or two days or is it a gradual drop over a few or more days? I know temps can fluctuate after o but my temps seem to be on a downward trend. I've tried posting my chart other times but never got it right so I'll try again 14e680 Ovulation Charts if that works can you ladies have a look and let me know if it's as bad as I think it is?

to the board!! I'm Nikki and I hope we get to see a lot more of you now that you've ventured out of lurkdom!

Okay... now on to your chart. I don't think you should be too terribly worried.

A drop in temps can be a good sign, as implantation can take place anywhere between 6 and 12 DPO. You are in that window of time at the moment, so it may be a good thing.

It also can be a normal fluctuation in temperature... the drop is fairly small and considering you are still above your cover line, I would say you are still fine. You may very well find that your temps go back up come tomorrow morning.

Either way, I hope that you'll stay with us so that we can see how your chart develops. We're always happy to have more girls charting over here!

Here's some BFP just for you!!

Hi Patricia! Welcome to the charting board! I hope you will stick around with us. We like to have new charts to stare at!

I agree with Nikki. The temp drop you are seeing shouldn't be from AF. You are only 7dpo and it is very typical to see a temp drop around that time frame. I have a feeling your temp will be back up today.

If you were a day or two from getting AF I might be concerned but at this stage you are still in good shape. To make yourself feel better you should go look through FF's chart gallery and find some bfp charts with an implantation dip.

I think you are still in good shape!

You were right ladies, my temp went up this morning. By the way my name is Patricia. My husband and I have one son who was born in 2007. I can't believe I put off temping for so long, it's great! It's helped with my poas addiction too lol. Normally I would have started poas at about 6 dpo but here I am at 8 dpo and I haven't wasted any money on hpt's yet! This is the 4th time we have ttc (first time took 6 months = molar pregnancy. second time took 3 months = our son, 3rd time took 5 months = miscarriage, currently on month 6)
