I wonder?????

Since yesterday I have broken out in hives...
I have never had hives not since I was a kid anyway. So I went on line to look it up and I found that it could be an early pregancy sign, and that some women break out in hives on there bodies in the 1st and 2nd week.
Has anyone ever heard of this...

I wonder????

Interesting. I used to get hives when I was a kid too. I still can on occasion. Teresa (my twin sis) and I have issues with weather related hives. It is like an allergy to the cold. Teresa has this problem more than me. But, I remember breaking out in them at school and the school nurses were kind of freaked out by it. We would get them if we got really hot and cold at the same time. Like playing outdoors and getting hot and sweaty but it being super cold outside.

Okay hijacking threads again.. Sorry bad habit.

I hope the hives are a good sign!!!

I have very sensitive skin (ezcema) so I'm familiar with hives and they SUCK!

I've had laundry detergent give me hives, shampoo, even our water here at the new house, if I stay in the shower too long, I get hives. Must be because the water here is so heavy. If I'm covered with them, the only thing that helps is an Aveeno bath. They go away like instantly. If it's just a few, I use hydrocortisone cream.

I hope beyond hope that it's a good sign for you!! Whatever you do... DON'T scratch them and then touch a place that has no hives on it... because it soon will! LOL!!
