A little history on me, I'm 27 and I had a miscarriage in March and have not had a normal cycle since. I had to take provera to start a period in June which led to 2 periods within 2 weeks. My next cycle didn't start until August 1st making it a 42 day cycle. This cycle I started to chart and temp but my chart looks very erratic to me, does it look normal or like I may ovulate this cycle?

If we don't get a BFP this month then I have to go for a sonohystogram and possibly start on clomid if they don't find any polyps or anything that would be preventing ovulation.

Can you please look at my chart and tell me what you think?

Sorry it took me so long to get over here to this question... I had an upset friend that I had to console on the phone.

First, let me give you a nice I'm Nikki! We're glad to have ya!!

Okay... I've looked at your chart and it's pretty obvious that you have yet to ovulate this cycle. Pre-ovulatory temps can fluctuate up and down quite a bit. I've seen charts that have had bigger highs and lows than yours. So it's not unheard of and it's certainly not a definite indicator of a problem.

"Normal" is kind of a subjective term when it comes to charting... because what's normal for me, may not be normal for you. For example... Normal for me is to have my temp drop 2 days past ovulation then go back up the following day. That doesn't happen to everyone... but it always seems to happen to me. Everyone's cycle is a bit different.

I do see that it looks like your body might've tried to get ready to O on CD 16 with a drop in temp and EWCM, but it didn't get it done for whatever reason. I don't see anything that jumps out or leads me to believe at this point that you definitely will not ovulate this cycle. You may just ovulate later than you expected.

I would encourage you to stick around the board for the next handful of days so that we can watch your chart and see how it develops.

Nikki gave you some great advice. Sorry I am getting here late too. I agree with Nikki. It doesn't look like you o'd yet but your chart looks perfectly normal to me. A lot of gals will have higher temps when AF is around and then once she leaves they start dipping back down. It does kind of look like you geared up to ovulate based on your CM and CP but I don't see a thermal shift yet so I think you may still be waiting it out a little longer.

I would pay real close attention to your CM and CP over the next few days. If you notice more ewcm I would get busy.

((HUGS)) I am very sorry about your loss. I hope your bfp comes soon.

Please stick around. We love new charters and everyone is very supportive over here.

Thank you so much Patty and Nikki!!! I really appreciate you taking the time to look at my chart, I will definitely be keeping you posted. I took my daily opk and got another negative. Seeing you both say that it looks like I geared up also made me thing about my opk's, they started to get darker but never positive and then they started to fade, it seems like they might be starting to darken again now but I have alot of creamy thicker CM. Thank you again for all your help, I'm sure I'll need alot of it!!! ((HUGS))
