Hi ladies, I've had a confusing past few days - mainly having spotting on CD 23 & 24, which is way early for me, so I'm not sure if it was implantation or what...

Anyway, I am just curious what the 'typical' CP is for maybe 0-4 days before AF is due? Right now my cx is hard & high - I can never really tell what the opening is doing. My cycle is 27 days long, & today is CD25/12DPO for me... the past 3 days my CM has dried up, so I am thinking AF IS on her way, and my cycle is just a bit weird because it's my first cycle post IUD removal...

probably won't help much, but here is a link to my chart

Your cervix should return to it's "non fertile" state within 2 weeks of ovulation... which is Low, Firm & Closed.

I'm with you on the whole Open Closed thing... I always have trouble telling what's what with that. I've taken to just not even putting in on my chart, I just mark height and texture and leave the open closed thing alone. LOL!

Do you normally spot prior to AF? Things could be a bit due to this being your first cycle after your IUD removal. The fact that it's firm... sounds like it's doing what it's supposed to, it may drop to a lower position over the next day or so.

I usually spot for two days before AF arrives, but it's usually like CD26+CD27.. rather than 23+24... I caved and bought more tests - got a BFN, and of course when i checked my cx again, I noticed some spotting - so am thinking that the old buying a box of pregnancy test's trick worked, and now AF will arrive in full force

That is what I do too. Mine is usually firm and low but then right before AF shows it starts to soften up.
