I was just wondering if any of you have picked out baby names yet. Care to share some of your Fav's ?

DH and I never agreed on a Boy name when I was pregnant with Paige so I am sure that we will have a hard time this time he wants Franklin James ( YUCK) after him and his uncle. We have not even talked names yet I want to wait till I get my BFP before I bring it up to him But We both liked Montana for a girl last time.

We like Mark for a boy Maurice as his middle name after DH.
For a girl we're between two. Ava Maire or Megan anne...

Elizabeth June for a girl (June for my gram who died last year) and boy, no clue, although Jacob Levi (Levi for DH's gramp) was the name we had picked out 4 years ago when we had Emily.

We were talking about babies names the other day (have a couple friends who just had babies) and I think we've pretty much decided on Brianna Rene.

Back history:
I've talked about it once before, but BF was dating a chick (who we will refer to as "Stupid" ) several years ago and she ended up pregnant. They were breaking up at the time, but he was still thrilled because he wants to be a dad more than anything.
"Stupid" had a little girl named Isabelle Rene. 9 months later she tells BF that it's not his and a blood test confirmed it. He was absolutely devastated and his live basically fell apart. He's turning his life around now, though.

Anyway, one friend named her little girl Aleyna Rene and when we were talking about it, he told me that Isabelle's name was supposed to be Brianna Rene. That's what they had decided on and had told everyone, but then at the last minute, "Stupid" changed it to Isabelle w/o even telling him (he walked into the room and there were signs saying "Enjoy Isabelle!" & such).

Then just last weekend we were talking about our other friend who had a baby named Hadley Isabelle and has an older daughter named Brianna. He brought up the Brianna Rene thing again. It just so happens that I've always liked the name Brianna so we've pretty much already decided that if we have a girl it's going to be Brianna Rene.

Not sure about a boy, though.

We've got the boy figured out... Theodore (after the president... my hubby is obsessed) Lee (it's my great grandfathers name, and also my middle name). Absolutely no idea on a girl... bc my hubby refuses to believe he will produce a girl.... but with the statistics being one girl in the last 10 generations... he does have a small reason to be cocky... lol.

For a girl we like Ashtyn Alicia for a boy were not too sure.
I however like the name Zeke, DF doesn't. Which doesn't mean much to me as he didn't like the name Rylee for a girl until she was nearly born and I pleaded with him. He now says that he couldn't imaging calling her anything else.

Boy will be Robert Matheson for sure.

Robert is DH, my dad, and my FIL's names. Matheson is my husband's favorite author (we are both writers).

Girl is trickier. If we do the family route, it will be something involving Pamela, Charlotte, or Joyce. But there are other names we both love too, like Tabitha, Miranda, and Nathalie (DH's middle name is Nathan and he goes by it).

I love all the names you have all listed- Sweatshirtgirl, Elizabeth June is wonderful.

Our first boy will be named David Alan III, if we have another boy we both like Lucius (the name of Joaquin Phoenix's character in the Village) and we have not come up with a middle name, but I like Lucious Robert (Robert after my mom's father who died when I was an infant).
A girl, we like Breana (havent decided on a specific spelling) Dianne (my mom's middle name and my middle name).

If it's a girl... and we both strongly believe it will be, her name will be Kira Leigh. Leigh is DH's mom's name. Most of the girl names in my family are kinda... odd, so I wasn't going to be harvesting much from my family. The only family girl name I like is Cecelia (my grandmother's middle name) but that doesn't really go with much and I'm BIG on the name feeling right in the mouth and to the ear.

As for a boy... that one is still being discussed. I was open to naming it after DH, but he's already a Jr. and said he no interest in continuing that tradition. I think we've pretty much settled on Ronin for the first name. As for the middle name... we're still undecided.

My current favorite boy name is Henry. We always said we'd use Matthew (dh's name) for a middle name, but I don't like the sound of Henry Matthew very much. We've also discussed Harrison, which my husband loves, but it seems to me that 3 syllable names usually get shorted, and I don't want anyone calling him Harry. For a girl, I love the name Bronwen but would probably only use it as a middle name. We both like Zoey, so possibley Zoey Bronwen. When I had my 2 daughters I was concerned with their names sounding right together, but his 2 girls names combined with my 2 girls makes a weird mix, so making a 5th name fit with them isn't so much a concern now. We have Grace and Lily, and Gabrielle and Jillian (aka Gabby and Jill).

Zoey is a girl's name that I've always like.

BF has said that he liked the name Jacob for a boy, but I'm not sure I like that as a first name. And he liked Brandon which I do like and I suppose Brandon Jacob doesn't sound to bad. He also mentioned a long time ago that he liked Joseph Allen. Joseph is his middle name and I'm not sure where Allen comes from (his dad is Al, but it's short for Alvin and I know he had a Grandpa Al that he was close to, but I don't know if that was also Alvin, or Allen). Joseph Allen doesn't sound too bad, but my 2 close friend's husbands are named Joe & Joey. And for a kid, Joe sounds to grown up, and for an adult Joey sounds to kid like (and I wouldn't want my kid changing his name several times throughout his life).

I have an ex named Daniel James which, as a name, I really like, but there is absolutely no way I'd name my kid that.

The hard thing about boy's names is BF is one of 5 boys and has 8 nephews (no sisters and only 2 nieces). I have one brother, 5 male cousins, no sisters, and only 3 female cousins. So a lot of boys names are already taken between both of our families.

I just got through posting to this same question over on AIP. Funny.

We are really bad about picking out names. The last two little ones' names were picked either en route to the hospital or after their birth.

I have a name I like but we haven't really talked about it. I posted in another thread a while back about having a dream about having a baby by names Oliver. The name has kind of stuck on me (and Jeremy's name came from a dream too) but I don't think dh is going to go for it.

I change my mind almost daily on baby names, LOL! All my daughters have 2 middle names so of course the next baby will to. The top contenders as of right now are Everleigh Catherine Ann for a girl and Leyton Ridgon Howard for a boy. Those are all "family" names except for Everleigh and Leyton, LOL!

DH and I havn't thought much about baby names yet. I think if we had a boy we might choose the name Joshua Lawrence - that is really the only one that we agreed on when I was pregnant with DD and coming up with names. As for a girl, I don't know.

Robert is also my Dad, DH, Brother, and DH's uncle. DH wants to name a boy Robert also, but I think it would be way too confusing!

For a girl we like Fiona, I'm not sure of a middle name but probably something kind of 'hippy'.
