Do I put today or yesterday as CD 1?? Help please!

I know you are supposed to count the 1st day of red blood but I have been spotting 2-3 days prior to AF for months now.

My question is........I started spotting brown/pink on Tuesday through up until last night when the red blood showed at about 9pm............so since most of the day was just spotting do I still count day 1 as yesterday?

Why can't she just show in the morning and make it easier!!! I always get confused on this!

I would count yesterday as CD1.

Candace is right... since you saw a proper flow of red blood yesterday, then yesterday should be CD 1.
