O/T: This Day 3 Years Ago..

I married my best friend! Today, DH and I are celebrating our 3rd Anniversary. We always go to Macaroni Grill because on the day we got married that's where we went. DH and I somewhat eloped at the Justice of the Peace, then we decided to go eat at Macaroni Grill (DH's fav). They treated us SO well that day! They brought out a pretty big chunk of cake, free of charge! It was so cute. So every since, we have made Macaroni Grill a tradition.

We have had our rough patch, which is a miracle we made it through. I was scared it would end in divorce and it almost did. I am super stubborn and if it weren't for DH, we may be divorced. But through the grace and strength of God, we were able to push through. We sought counseling and that helped a lot!!! I love him more each day and the only reason (besides God) we made it through all of that is because we still loved each other. We tell each other everything and have a very open relationship. We do EVERYTHING together, rarely do we go off and do our own thing. He puts up with my shopping and I put up with watching him work on cars all the time. Without him I don't know where I would be, he is my best friend, my love, my life.

Happy Anniversary, Candace!! I'm glad that all is well now and you two are going strong!

Btw, Macaroni Grill is one of DH & I's favorite restaurants as well. We go there any time we feel we need to "reconnect" to one another because for some reason, that place just does it for us.

Congratulations! I think most good marriages go through a rough patch or two. I know dh and I have had a spell or two of our own that was really rough. I think the getting through it makes you stronger.
