Help! Why am I still seeing EWCM?

I've been checking out this board for quite some time, but have never posted on here. I am usually on TTCYF. I thought this question might be better to post on here though. I am at 5DPO and just saw a huge glob of EWCM today after making a BM. If you look at my chart you can see that I have had lots of EWCM this cycle. I only had two days of it right before O'ing last month. I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced this or might know why I would be getting EWCM after O'ing? Thanks a bunch!

could be you are still fertile or something up with the hormones... I would keep baby dancing until it dries up even if FF says you already ovulated- you never know.

does the ewcm look or feel even slightly different than it did pre o? I get cm post o that's just different in color than my pre o.

Yes, it does look a little different. It has more of a whitish and even yellowish tint to it. Before O'ing it is crystal clear.

Hmm... that's a real stumper there. So I imagine it's slippery and stretchy... just not clear. Hmm. I know I've read about it being perfectly normal to have patches of fertile CM after O... but that does seem like a bit more than one would expect. (scratching my head)

I noticed that I have some egg white cervical mucus around 7 or 8 DPO. Is this a sign that I have low progesterone?

DR. AMOS:
EWCM comes from an estrogen increase. That usually happens several days prior to ovulation. But it also happens about a week after ovulation. So seeing EWCM again at that time is not unusual.

I'll keep doing some checking and see if I can find anything else for you.

Nikki, i really appreciate your trying to help me with this. I saw a little bit more after a BM, Just a little shiny slippery on my TP. I'm really stumped as well. My temps seems to show I O'd. Could I be O'ing more than once?

I highly doubt you are O'ing again.

Have you tried to stretch it between your fingers or are you only observing it on the TP? The reason I ask is because I found a posting online of a lady that said she was seeing EW on the TP, but when she actually got some on her fingers, it didn't stretch, so she knew it wasn't actual EW.
