Any of you gals going to be making the first grand baby for your folks or his folks?
I didn't get to be first for any of them. Dh is the baby of the family and Teresa had 3 kids before I had Jeremy so she was first.

We will be making the first grandbaby for all of the folks and the first great grandbaby for his grandmother as well!

On my side it will be the first grandbaby. On DH's side, his sister already has 2, so we will be adding the third. YAH!

On my side it will be my dad's first biologicalgrandbaby. My sister and I have different dads, although she was raised by my dad beginning at the age of one.
On his side, it will be his dad's first grandbaby too. He and his siblings have different dads too... and one of his sisters had a baby already.

it will be the first for my parents, DH's brother has one beautiful daughter, our 4 year old niece. So it will be the second for Dh's parents. first great grandbaby for my grandparents as well!!

Nope, I have several cousins that have kids (and none of them are really good parents either - life is so unfair - sorry, I'm going through my AF depression/angry phase).
And on BF's side, we're the only ones that don't have kids (his sis-in-law just had #5 - but I really like her and they're fantastic parents so I'm not bitter towards her).
If we ever have kids, we'll probably be the last grand kids on both sides.

Yes and no... I will be making the first for my mom, and the first great-grandchild for my grandparents.... It will be hubby's mom's first grandchild... but his dad has one from a previous marriage... Yay for being first! lol.. Its funny bc my hubby is the middle child too

Our child will be the first for both my dad, and Mark's parents. Unless my brother has one of his own, but I highly doubt that lol

Technically we won't be giving anyone a first grandchild or great grandchild, but as far as DH's dad is concerned, yes, this will be his first grandchild as he doesn't know his daughter's children. Also, DH's brother had a daughter that died at 2 months old and unfortunately his brother never got to meet her and his dad only ever saw her once.

Yup, we will, unless my sis-in-law beats me to it! I don't know of any plans of theirs to try, but it wouldn't really surprise me if they decided to try soon.

TTC on our own for over 2 years
Dx with Severe MFI- Blood work shows no Microdeletion and no CF mutations
Ultrasound scheduled 3/22- DONE! Everything looks normal, other than some cysts on my right ovary.
HSG scheduled 4/14- DONE! Tubes are clear!! 
On BCP until our IVF w/ICSI scheduled for August!!!

I'm an only child so my lil one will be spoiled rotten!!! Also, on my dads side, my baby will be the only great grandchild and I'm my grandma's only grandchild I can't wait!
