Ok, here's how it is for me...
Dry is well, dry. I don't get many dry times, but it's pretty obvious when I do. I tend to get this a few days after AF if I get it. (Never tracked it, just noticed along the way.)
Sticky CM is kinda thick feeling, but not actually thick if that makes sense. When I was checking my cervix it was actually kind of difficult to insert my fingers because even though I was wet, it was harder to get my fingers to slide in. This kind of CM dries up quickly on your fingers and if I rub my fingers together, it kind of balls up into little pieces that are crumbly like. I get this at various times through my cycle with no apparent rhyme or reason for it.
Creamy is as I've heard so many say before, like hand lotion. It is usually whitish or has specks of white in it. This stuff I can just rub around between my fingers and it feels just like lotion would. It doesn't dry right away but it doesn't clump or stretch at all. I tend to get this in the week or so leading up to AF
Watery is very thin and slippery. It's very easy to check my cervix when I have watery CM and when I rub my fingers together they just glide over each other. It's similar to how lubricant feels and looks. I think I get this during and after O for the most part (for like 2 days), but I do occasionally get it at other times throughout my cycle.
EWCM is thicker than any of the other CM that I get. It varies in color from clear, to white tinged, to yellow tinged. (And apparently for one bathroom trip today, orange tinged! LOL) It's very stretchy and feels like (ok, no laughing here, this was the best I could come up with) slime...like the stuff you can buy out of the gumball type machines.

It's slippery but stays solid when you rub your fingers together, unlike watery which just disperses itself when you do this. I tend to get EWCM both before O and before AF.
I hope this helps...and I hope I'm recognizing it correctly myself!
