Would there be a time of the month, or position of your cervix where DH is more likely to make you bleed during BD'ing? After we BD'd tonight, I went to the bathroom and there blood on the TP, and when I came back and looked at the sheets, the bit that had leaked out was bloody. We went to a movie, when I came home and went to the bathroom, there was a bit more blood on the TP... just wondering if that would happen when your cervix is low?

Sorry for the graphics, but I'm curious

Yep, it can definitely happen that way. But because your cervix changes position so often during your cycle (and even throughout the day), it's hard to say when exactly it could/would happen. I haven't ever bled from it, but I have had my cervix bumped several times and yowsa! it was NOT comfortable!

Just happened to me too. Not sure why, but wanted to let you know that I'm in the same boat.

We BD'd the other night. I'd had some post-AF spotting earlier that day but it had pretty much stopped. Everything was fine upon clean-up and we went to sleep. Got up the next morning, got dressed, and while I was standing I felt a little gush "down there". Went to the bathroom and I had quite a bit of watery blood. It finally stopped after several wipes and I spotted a little pink throughout the day but it stopped completely by that night.

Scared the crap out of me at first, but I figured AF wasn't completely done and BDing must have irritated something.

I have had ovulation spotting like you described but I don't think I have ever irritated my cervix from having sex.

Last month I had a little bit of blood with my CM, thought it from Oing but I hadnt O'd yet, so I just assumed it was from BDing.

I often have a bit of spotting after BD in the middle of my cycle. It doesn't seem to be timed up with ovulation, so I don't think it's from that. I'm not sure what it is - I never thought of it being caused by irritating my cervix. I just assumed I was having random spotting and BDing caused it to come out. It never had a negative effect on my cycle though, so unless it gets heavier I wouldn't worry too much about it!

When I was on the Depo shot, I used to have blood all the time when we had sex... but I think it was just major irritation. I haven't had it since I went off of that stuff.

If I BD around 3 days or less after my period, I normally spot. If it's real vigorous during other times during the month, it sometimes happens then, too. I think mine is because even though my hubby is hardly larger than average, I'm kind of small down there. I tear a little more than normal.

Interesting! I should say, the sex wasn't painful and didn't feel like it hit anything, wasn't an long session or extremely rough or anything so was curious. Will chalk it up to I don't know, it's just one of those things
