what are your opinions of the duggar family. i know they want a large family but how large is to large?

she is expecting # 19 and she is 3 months along.

are they trying to break some kind of record.

it makes me feel sad that they have 19 kids and i only want 1.

how come i couldn't of gotten her fertility so i could at least have 1.

what do you ladies think?

how far do you think they will go in number of children?

do you think they should have more after # 19 or stop having kids?

how are they going to be able to pay for all of these kids?

i have a feeling that there renters aren't paying that much right?

just wanted your opinions on this !

thanks

I think as long as the kids are all well cared for, she should have as many as she wants, or in her case, I think she wants as many as God gives her. I don't think she'll break the record. I seem to remember that being 55+ children. Lady had a lot of twins, I remember.

I know it can be frustrating. My husband and I have been having unprotected sex for going on 5 years, and we only have one, and it took 2 years just to get her. At some point you always wonder what's up with stuff like that.

I know they are thrifty. Children's clothes are for the most part gotten from thrift shops, and the girls all know how to sew. I gotta say, though, my momma sews, and it is not cheaper to make your own clothes. She'd buy me something before make it. Her husband for the most part built their house, they don't spend 75$ a month on cable, don't know if they have internet, they don't get video games... I thought her husband spent some time being a senator or something important? I'm sure they are getting 500$ a month each--at least--for that rental property.

I am also willing to bet they get travel offers to be seen certain places, and I know that show gives them a nice chunk of revenue.

I'm happy she's happy, but I am personally glad I don't have so many kids. I like having "me" time. I understand, though, sweety. Why are some people so able to get pregnant when you or I don't? I've know one lady to be such an unfit parent that social services was in the delivery room to catch her 5th child. She wasn't able to even keep ONE of her five children, all by different fathers. Why couldn't God steer just one or two of those angels our way?

Let's not forget the fact that they aren't doing that TV show for free. They're being paid for that as well.

Personally, I think it's up to them. If they want to have 8 gabillion kids... as long as they aren't asking for handouts to take care of them... more power to them.

Do I feel short changed and jealous that she can have 19 healthy pregnancies when I can't even get one? You bet!

Well I would not want that many myself but as long as she can care for and afford them then it is up to them. I would not want to have kids and grandkids the same age that thought scares me I can't even think how hard it much be to homeschool all of them kids.

I like the Duggars in a strange way. I wouldn't want that many kids or their lifestyle but I respect them and think they both seem to have big hearts. I like large families so you won't see me knocking them.

The only thing I thought was FUNNY when I read the news was that Michelle said she was surprised. I think she was the only one surprised by the news. I know I sure wasn't. LOL. I expect one more out of them.

First of all, I love them. I just love big families.. I am jealous (in a good way)... I would love to have all those brothers and sisters! Such a strong, loving family.
Think of how many grand children she is going to have <3 Makes my heart smile.

And as far as money.. I am sure they get paid a ton of $ for each episode. So with that said, I am sure Jim Bob is investing it well.
