Hey all!! My name is Jennifer and I have been a lurker for a month or so until now This board is so much fun and I have learned so much from just reading. Glad to see I'm not the only one in the world trying to catch that egg! lol Anyway, I started charting with my last cycle, which started on August 16th but I started temping on the 17th. I bought an ovulation kit and started testing this past Saturday, which was CD 14. I have taken 6 tests so far since then and I'm a little bit confused. They started out light, then it became pretty dark, and now it seems to be getting lighter. On FF it has not showed I O'd yet so I'm confused My cycle's have always been 28 days until July, then it was 30 days. This month when I started it was 31 days, but my period always lasts 5 days. So do you think I have O'd yet? Thanks in advance!!

Welcome!! this board is great, all the ladies on here are wonderful!!
It looks like you almost had a positive OPK on #3...but I know pics aren't always the best. Does the line (IRL) look darker than the control line? I *think* if your temp continues to climb you may have O'd on Monday....but it cant be confirmed until we see some more temp rises. GL!!! I hope you catch that eggie soon!!!

I think you may have just missed your surge with the third OPK. It is really dark compared to all of the others and if you used it even an hour too late then it could look negative even though an hour earlier it would've been positive. Based on your temps and CP you could have O'd Monday or yesterday. More temps will really help.

That is close..I will let someone else answer that question. I am still new to TTC (second cycle), so I still have trouble with OPKs.

Hi! Welcome to the charting board. I am so happy you decided to quit lurking and come join in!

I don't think you have had a positive yet. It looks like you are getting close. I would try to keep testing twice a day because I think you should be seeing a positive soon.

Did you take test number three early in the morning? I have problems with getting darker lines in the mornings on my opks so I usually don't consider mine a positive unless I have a dark line in the afternoon.

I don't think she has ovulated yet. I don't see a thermal shift. Also, I think test 6 looks darker than test 4. To me, it looks like they are starting to get darker. I would keep testing and keep bding. I do agree that her CP looks right for ovulation but I think everything else looks like she hasn't, at least to me.

Thanks Patty! I just did a test at 4pm and it was darker than the last one, #6. I will test later tonight as well and keep you updated. Thanks for the help ladies!

Welcome! I agree with Patty, I don't see a sustained thermal shift yet even though some of your temps are pretty high. Sometimes your body can gear up to O and then not go through with it. Maybe that is what happened with #3 ( I would have counted #3 as a positive, that is very much what my positive opks have looked like & FF confirmed it) Also the OPK's tell you 24-48 hours before you O so maybe it's on it's way but just hasn't happened quite yet. Thanks Ya'll! My temp did go up today finally so I hope that is a good sign! The two Opk's I took yesterday were similar to #3 in my pic so I hope I'm about to O soon! I will keep updating

Well that is one heck of a temp spike. I think you probably just o'd. I think some gals get clearer positive opks than others. My test lines are usually much darker than the control line when I get a positive opk.

Can't wait to see what your temp does tomorrow.

I think you are still good. Your temp is still way up there. Your temp doesn't have to keep going up. It just needs to stay above your pre o temps. I think you're looking good!
