I am sure this is a UTI. I tried to schedule a doctor's appt in this rinky dink stinky dink town I live in. I was kind of snippy with the nurse but it is the second time I have tried to get an appt with them and they said they can't see new patients until at least next week. I told her I was going to try to find a doctor that seen new patients because this is the second time I had tried to get an appt there.

The last time I went up to ER after calling three doctor's offices in my area and getting the same run around. I don't want to wait a week and I don't want to go to the ER for a UTI. There are not walk in clinics around here.

I don't feel well. I woke up still peeing constantly and it hurts when I go. I feel nauseous and I just want to go to the doctor.

Oh and the battery on my phone just died because people in my house can't put it on the charger so now I have to wait until the phone charges before I can call anyone else.

Edited to add: On top of that, I missed my temp again today. Kelly said I turned my alarm off. I don't remember it even going off.

Can your DR not call in a prescription??? Did you get some cranberry juice? I hope you feel better soon, UTIs SUCK!!!!
Dont worry about your temp, worry about taking care of yourself and getting some rest.

That is my problem. I don't have a doctor. Since we moved I haven't found a new doctor. I tried but everyone around here isn't seeing new patients. I am going to get on the phone as soon as the battery charges and find somebody to see me.

Oh I see....can you call a pharmacy to see if they have anything you can take? Or maybe some recommendations?

Pharmacy won't give her anything without a script. They will probably recommend the same things we have.... lots of water and cranberry juice. If she needs an antibiotic, they're gonna tell her she needs a script from a doctor.

I hear ya on the whole "not accepting new patients" thing. We're in the same boat since we moved. As much as it would be a drag... if either of us got sick and really needed to see the doctor, at this point we'd probably have to resort to driving to Philly to our old doctor.

And they say people in Canada have to wait for operations... Heck, some of us have to wait just to get a dang doctor!!!

Do you have any friends that live near you that may have some anti-biotics you can take? I know that sounds risky, but I mean CLOSE and TRUSTWORTHY friends or family. DH and I have done this before, his mom is like her own personal pharmacy!

I called several doctors and finally got an appt with one. I was getting pretty irritated by the time I got to this doctor. I was running out of docs to call in my area. I hope they are nice but at this point I don't care. I just want something to make me feel better. I feel nauseous on top of the peeing stuff.

I am very funny about antibiotics. I try to avoid taking them as much as possible, even with my kids. If I do take them I always finish the entire dosage. It is important to finish them up because not taking the full dosage can lead to resistant infections.
