Hey everyone, I'm kinda still new to this site. I have been ttc for six months now and no luck. I also have PCOS and my doctor told me I should temp since I don't know when my cycle is. I am also using OPK since my LH levels are normal.
Anyways I have been temping for 4 weeks now. Sept 1 I got ewcm and a temp of 96.78 when my normal temp is 96.64 or right close to that. My dh and I dtd. I took an opk and it was dark but not a positive. Sept 2. I temped and it was 96.12 and I did it twice to make sure. Still had ewcm. That afternoon I took an opk and it was so dark it was either positive or very close to. Sept 3 I missed temping and still my dh and I dtd. That afternoon I took an opk and it was wayyyyy lighter and clearly a negative. This morning I woke up at 4 and took my temp and it was 96.56. I went back to sleep and thought it was way too early since I usually don't do it till 7. I did it at 7 and it was 97.22. I know I need three straight days but since I missed that one and this, I don't know if I still have a chance.
I really hope since I have never seen an opk that dark and clear before. But I am so confused.

What time do you normally temp?

around 7. When I tempted at 4 I put it in my mouth tempted and fell back to sleep. My dh was working over night so I was alone. Then I did it the same way at 7.

You don't know if you have a chance at what? A BFP? I'm not sure what you missed... you said you and DH BD'd on the 1st, 2nd & 3rd... so I'm not really sure why you think you missed anything.

aww its okay. See I haven't been ovulating and I dont' know if I messed up and maybe didn't really ovulate or maybe I did. I was wondering if you guys thought if it is possible from what I have said that I did or if not really.

I would go with your 7AM temp since thats when you typically temp AND you got 3 consecutive hours of sleep.

yep I have had ewcm since the 1 but its not so much this afternoon. And I'm hoping so. I will temp tomorrow and let you all know. keep our fingers crossed that I ovulated even if I get a bfn.

Okay... well, if you have O'd already... I would say based purely on your BD timing, you should have a fairly good shot!

Keep BD'ing until you have no more EWCM at all. As long as you see that EWCM, you're still considered fertile.

I second what Coley said. Since you're not sure of your cycle at this point and your temps are a bit iffy, just keep BDing every day or every other day (whatever you and DH can handle) until no more EWCM or Fertility Friend says you ovulated.

Even though you have PCOS, if you use OPKs regularly and they are usually not showing anything, I think you can probably go by that too. Those three days of light line, dark, then light sounds like a good sign to me. That's what mine always do and the temp shift happens right after that third line!
