I have a few questions bc I am still a little confused, so hopefully you ladies can help me out..

I had a positive Ovulation test on Wed. Aug.26th at 1pm

As of toady how many DPo's would I be..Would I use the date of Aug.26th or maybe that Friday, since you usually dont actually ovulate the same day you get the surge..

Also I posted this the other day,
I have been checking my cervix everyday this month, so I am not a expert by any means... lol
Before AF and After AF it was firm

Right before I had my LH surge and until Mid sat it was Soft

As of Thursday evening, Friday and Today it has been mushy, way softer then when I O'd . I have checked it multiple times during the day and its still mushy.

I have taken a few HPT's all have been BFN, So I really dont think I am pregnant, but my ? Is..

What else could cause a MUSHY cervix???? I am going to the store in a few to get a few OPK tests so maybe I can see if I am ovulating twice in one month?? I dont know what else it could be.

Sorry for the long post, but I am so confused .

OPK's can detect a surge the day of - 36 hours before you actually ovulate. You could have ovulated the day of to 3 days after you had your first positive OPK. Fertility Friend would advise you to wait 18 days from your positive OPK to test since you don't know exactly which day you O'd and in which case don't really know which day to expect your period. If you did concieve...a HPT wouldn't show up positive right away. The fertilized egg has to implant first which usually takes between 6-12 days from fertilization. Even then you have to wait a few more days for the HCG to build up in your system to get a positive test. What I'm trying to say is you still could be preggers...wait another week or so before you test again! Good Luck!

I agree. It is hard to know for sure when you ovulated based on just an opk. I have ovulated as late as five days after having a positive opk. That could explain why you are not getting a bfp yet. Hopefully you will get your bfp soon!
