I took off all the crosshairs and coverline off of my chart so you could look at it unbiased. Friday's temp the one with the open circle is the only temp in question. Friday's temp I got woke up at 5am which is 75 min earlier than normal and I don't know why but I took my temp got 96.93, peed really quick and feel right back asleep. I took it again at my normal waking time and got 97.18. I put the 96.93 temp in a temp corrector and got 97.19 so I left the 97.18 temp in, but honestly think my temp would be somewhere between those two temps.

Anyhow I plotted out my charts with both scenarios. With that info when do you think my O date is?

I wouldn't worry too much about trying to figure out the exact day. The truth is, charting doesn't tell us the exact day - just a really, really, really good estimate (accurate +/- 2 days).

But just for fun, I'd say it depends on when your CM changed. Did you notice a change from feeling wet or slippery one day, and then feeling much drier the next day? If so, when did that change happen?

Thanks Shawna. That's the thing I hardly had any CM this cycle and none at all last cycle. I should add I ran a marathon last cycle and I think my marathon training really screwed with that. The only days I noticed CM at all was on the days I have marked. I even started checking internally and while I wasn't completely dry it wasn't anything I'd note as slippery or wet really either. I had noticeable amounts of EWCM on cd13 and there was lots of it and it was definitely the consistency of egg whites. On cd 18 I had CM that looked like lotion. Other than that I really haven't had much in the way of CM. I definitely think my age is playing a factor in the CM because I don't use hormonal bc or anything else. The last time I charted was 2 years ago and I had lots of cm then and my charts were easier to read. Thanks for responding Shawna.

I was thinking CD 17 at first, but it looks like it might be CD 13 or 14. It went up a good bit after that, and there's even that dip that seems to be on everyone's charts around 5-8 days later. Then again, there's a dip if you O'd on the 17th.

Well, I want to say 13 or 14, but I will say 17 since the OPK can back it up.

I think it was either CD16 or 17. It is hard to say for sure. I think you should start adding your CP info to your chart to give you one more fertile sign to use as a guide.

It's actually not unusual for runners and other athletes to have scanty CM - especially the cycles during/following marathons or other big competitions. You might still ovulate just fine, but the physical stress can affect the production of CM. Now as a runner, I'm sure you're well aware of the importance of adequate water intake...but just FYI, dehydration can also affect CM production too.
