I was wondering if anyone uses the clearblue easy fertility monitor. I had a question. Every where I read it says the monitor will show up to 6 fertile days. I am going on day 7 of what is says is High Fertility but I still haven't gotten Peak Fertility yet. This is the 1st cycle using the monitor, I am wondering if it is getting used to my body's patterns or what.

I'm not sure either as I haven't used it. What does it look for? Is it measuring LH?

I'm not too familiar with it, but I know Marquette University has developed a model of Natural Family Planning that incorporates the Clear Blue Fertility Monitor. Maybe one of their nurses would be able to answer your question about it?

I did some research online and some people said they had this problem before with their monitors, they show 6 days of fertility with out ever getting a peak. I think since this is the 1st month using the montior it might be getting used to my cycles. From what my FF chart says I haven't O'ed yet and my CM looks more and more less fertile everydayso I am really starting to believe I didn't O this cycle or the last. I am just thinking my body is trying to get back to normal from after being pregnant. Maybe that's the problem.

So far I love the monitor, it's real simple and very easy to use. The test sticks can be kinda pricey but you get a 3 months supply. Everyone says it helped them pin point their O day and they ended up getting pregnant within 3 months of using it. I know those people probably don't chart so I think I am on top of my gaming charting and using the monitor.

Here's a little more info about the monitor. Most home ovulation tests identify the 2 Peak Fertility days during your cycle by detecting the surge in Luteinizing Hormone (LH) that triggers ovulation and estrogen hormones. The Clearblue® Easy Fertility Monitor is unique as it tracks 2 hormones to typically identify up to 6 fertile days – it not only shows you your 2 Peak Fertility days, it can also inform most women of an extra 1-5 days of High Fertility prior to their Peak Fertility.

Looking at your temps I don't think you've O'd yet either. Maybe your body is just taking it's time to gear up for O?

That is what I am thinking too. I would just try to keep bding until you can see a sustained thermal shift. I don't know enough about the CBE monitor. I do know that it uses estrogen and LH to identify your fertile days but that is about it. I should do some more reading on it.

That's totally normal for your first cycle using it! I've been using it for 5+ cycles now, and I had that problem too....it's just getting to learn your cycle, and it should regulate over the next couple cycles. Keep a close eye on your temps and other signs to get a good read on your potential fertility!
