I'm new to temping and last night is the first night I did not get a solid three hours worth of sleep so far this month. My DP had to get up for work at 2:30 am and then I was back awake at 3:30, tossed and turned for a little while then had to get the kids ready for school at 7 am. My temp dropped a little this morning. I read in a different post about some ladies adjusting their temps on FF. How do you do that? Or do I just leave the temp as is and see what tomorrow holds?

I would just leave it and mark it as sleep deprived. I don't normally adjust my temps. I find my chart is more accurate if I leave it alone and just make it an open circle (marking sleep deprived).

I agree. I would leave it as is and mark it as sleep deprived as well.

I agree. Your chart still looks good.

Thanks everyone. I went back to sleep after posting and slept for 3.5 hours, I took my temp again just for the heck of it and it was higher than this mornings with less than 3 hours of sleep. Would you still use the early morning temp?

Yes. Stick with the temp you got this morning. It may not be pretty... but it's accurate. Once you got up, logged on to the computer, typed that posting and clicked "Post" you had done enough to raise your body temp so that any temp after that would not be a true "waking temp"

Don't worry over one temp... we all have days like that.
