What was your first job and how old were you? I worked at Build-A-Bear (I got cussed out my first day on the job! YAH not pleasant) and I was 15. Whats funny is my SIL and I worked there at the same time and never knew it! Small world!!
Have you ever quit on a job without putting in a two week notice or walked off the job? Yes, I was a bakery clerk at Publix. I am not proud of it, but I got that worst review and I COMPLETELY disagreed with his comments. I mean completely, it was like he had never observed me work. The only reason I ended up walking out was because my future FIL hired me.
Have you ever been fired? Thankfully, I have not experienced that. I was forced to make a lateral move once because the snotty sales girls didnt like working with me because I didnt kiss their butts when I had a LOT of work to do.

I've had periods w/o a normal job, but I have worked.

What was your first job and how old were you?
I was kid of spoiled and never had a job in high school (besides the occasional babysitting) and didn't work through college (lived at home and had lots of scholarships). So I was 23 when I got my first job which was at a gas station.

Sort of. I'm laid off and have been job searching since Feb. A couple months ago, I got an offer to help prepare a building for a factory that's moving in. It only paid $10/hr, was through a temp service, was 35 miles away (one way), and just so not worth the money. By the end of the day I nearly had to crawl from my car to the house. I called up the temp agency lady and said I wasn't going back and to consider that I'd worked for free that day (otherwise it would have screwed up my unemployment).

Have you ever been fired?
No. Althouh after I was laid off for 6 months, my status officially got changed to "terminated".

What was your first job and how old were you? My first job was a paper route... I was about 12 years old. I was the only girl and my route was bigger than all the boys! My boss actually begged me not to quit!! HA HA!!!

Have you ever quit on a job without putting in a two week notice or walked off the job? Yes. I was working for a very crotchety old man who had me so stressed that I was physically ill from Sunday night, anticipating having to go in to work, until Friday night when I knew the weekend was coming. I literally couldn't take two more weeks.

Have you ever been fired? Yes, I have. I was fired from a crap Customer Service job for returning from lunch 1 minute late. Needless to say, I was pretty happy to never have to go back there again!!
