I am totally a softie. This is why I need my dh. He keeps the kids in order. I like being relaxed but then sometimes I don't because my kids can walk all over me.
I'll definitely be the strict one and BF will be the softie (he can be strict when he needs to be, though, but it just takes a lot more).
I tried getting the dog to stay off the bed (now that he's getting older, he's starting to shed like crazy). It lasted about a week because BF would secretly let the dog up on his side of the bed.
ugh i used to say softie, and i might be to an extent but on days like today when i have 10 two year olds acting like hellions, i know i can be tough when pushed!! DH will definitely be tougher than me though!!

SHHHH!! Don't mention Pregnancy on FB please!!
I will be strict. I wish I could be "the fun one" but that is just not who I am- I'm a teacher and I run a tight ship! But I know I will be super loving and affectionate and that will make up for it!
I think I'm going to be more strict. My mom was very strict with me & so was the Army!!! I think DH is more likely to cave. I'm very stubborn & arguing with me just makes me more stubborn (that can be both good and bad as a Mom).
I also think it really depends on the kids' personalities. Ethan really needs a routine & is unhappy when it gets messed up. My little cousin is the most laid-back kid you've ever met, but my niece will take a mile if you give her an inch. I hope I'm a good enough Mom to be able to tailor my parenting style to my kiddos' personalities.
