So, I got my second lab results back and my levels are back down to a 2 which definitely means that I'm no longer pg. While I was devastated over the weekend, I guess I'm alright and hoping that we can move on. I think that my body is still way out of whack because I'm still having major hot flashes where my cheeks get really hot and pink and I'm sweating but then freezing a few minutes later. So, I'm hoping that they can still give me a few answers on that since they are testing my thyroid levels. Also, I always thought that you would have to wait a cycle to start TTC again, but she did not say anything about that. I'm not sure if it's no big deal since it was so early or what. What do you think?? The only thing that she said that she would need to see me for is if I continued to have irregular cycles.
So we'll see how things go. I was just so confused in the first place how I was "pg" when my temps were so low to begin with. Hopefully my body will start to regulate itself and things will get back to normal.
Thanks for listening ladies!!!

I'm sorry for your loss... it doesn't matter how long or how short of a time it lasted, it still hurts.
Hope you get some solid answers soon.

I'm sorry!
As far as waiting to TTC again... when I m/c'd at 7 weeks, my DR told me to wait 1 cycle. When I had the chemical (+ HPT then bleeding started 6 days later) she told me it was OK to TTC right away. She said at 7-8+ weeks there's enough tissues that she wanted me to wait. The second time, my period was only about 4-5 days late & she said it was OK to start again. That time my period wasn't any different than a normal period where with the 7wk m/c, it was heavier and there were clots (sorry, TMI).
Good Luck! I hope you get some answers, I know how frustrating it is to not be able to get a good answer from anyone when you lose a pregnancy.

I was going to say the same thing. With my m/c around 8 weeks I had a d&c and waiting was recommended, but with my chemical it really doesn't affect your lining or anything so there isn't a reason physically that you need to wait. I am sorry for your loss. I know even early losses are hard.

Thanks for the encouraging thoughts ladies! It helps to have support especially since no one really even knew we were pg or even trying for that matter. It's hard to walk around acting like everything is ok and telling everyone that my long weekend was ok, when it really was horrible.
Thanks for all of the help with answering my questions regarding TTC. I was thinking that since it was so early that it would be okay, I just wanted to make sure.

(((HUGS)))) I think different doctors give different advice on how long to wait. I have had a few losses myself and some have said wait one cycle, others two cycles and with my ectopic my doc said three cycles but the midwife said it didn't really hurt to start trying sooner.
I am so sorry about your loss. I hope you get some answers from your tests.
