Hi ladies!
I just started charting this cycle, and am using FF. However, I work night shift, 3-4 nights a week usually, and not always consecutively. I read at FF that it's still possible to chart, but I started my cycle when I was working, and have now had a couple days off, and all the little dots for my BBT are open circles instead of closed ones. Does anyone else work nights? Is the charting accurate? I'm also using OPK's and CM just to help out. Just wondering though if anyone else is in a similar situation or has been and has been successful in charting.
Thanks!
Oh, also, how do I post my chart on the bottom of my posts? I have been trying to figure it out for days but I can't seem to do it!

Jacque

Sending lots of baby dust to all the ladies here!

I work nights as well, but my latest shift ends at 4am so home by 430. I still set my alarm for 6am every day no matter what shift I work and then just go back to sleep and just mark my chart as sleep deprived. Do you have a time that would work for you when you most often get up?

Go into Sharing, then tickers on the left side of your FF chart, you set up your ticker and from there at the end it will give you a code you can copy and paste into your signature Hope that helps!

Thank you so much!!! There really isn't a time I can consistently take my BBT every day, but I am going to at least try to be consistent nights on vs nights off. I work 7 pm to 7:30 am when I work, so it just kind of sucks for BBT purposes.
Thanks for helping me out with the ticker! It worked

I work nights as well and I still haven't figured out how to bbt accurately after night shifts. I'm thinking of just trying the OV watch since you just wear it when you sleep and it gives you your fertile days.

I'm likely going to be getting a night shift job here soon (I worked nights before but wasn't charting back then).

Maybe it's just me, but I never put the time in for my temperature because I don't always temp at the same time (just whenever I first happen to wake up) I also walk to the bathroom to do it which is supposed to be a big no-no. But having said that, it's never really made any differences in my chart to the point where I can't tell when I O'd.

Like my current chart, I've temped at all different times, but the only one that's WAY off is last weekend when we were at a friend's house. I stayed up late and didn't sleep very well at all and they didn't have their air on so it was pretty hot.

Well, I figure I'll just put the times in for now and I guess it doesn't matter some are open circles and some aren't..... hopefully it will still show when I O!!!
Thanks ladies!

I would just temp at the same time when you are on night shift each time and temp at the same time when you work day shift. Pick one as your default temp time and make the rest open circles. I think even without the temps if you are using opks and cm you should be able to tell your o date.
