Hi ladies!
So this is my first cycle using FF, charting my BBT, CM, and using OPK's. So I have the VIP membership and they stoplight is green but yet my OPK is negative.....My CM is somewhere between watery and EWCM....we BD'd last night and planning on tonight too, but does this mean FF thinks I'm about to ovulate? My OPK's the last two cycles were around day 14-16. So confused!

If you recorded water or EWCM then FF should give a green light to let you know that you may be ovulating soon. It's just trying to give you a heads up so you can BD just in case.

Some women may have fertile CM for several days before actually ovulating, and some may only have it for 1-2 days during ovulation. If you have fertile CM then get you BD on! In healthy, fertile CM, sperm can potentially live up to 5 days in your body and be there and ready for the eggie when you do ovulate

I started to get EWCM on CD 7 last month. It freaked me out too because I was like "Whoa! Isn't it a bit early for this?" But it kept going for 7 days, right up til I O'd on CD 14.

This month it started on CD 10, I still have it today at CD 14 and I think I O'd last night. So you're not totally alone in getting fertile signs fairly early.

My best advice to you is to BD every day that you've got watery or EWCM!!

Yeh FF is probably giving you the greenlight based on your cm. With this being your first cycle charting FF doesn't really know your cycle history so it is probably using your cm to predict when you might be most fertile.

I agree with Nikki you may not ovulate right away but you should consider fertile any time you see ewcm.
