So it says I may have ovulated on cd 16. Dotted crosshairs means ff isn't sure and may change it right? Anyway thanks for helping me start temping and for the advice I've gotten. I'm going to check the library for taking charge of your fertility and if I can't find it there I'll check the one bookstore we have in town. Hopefully I can find it.

Dotted crosshairs means that FF is making a guess at the O date. They could or may not change depending on future temps.

It could also stay dotted when the cycle ends by BFP or AF

Dotted cross hairs usually denotes that there are conflicting fertility signs in your chart, like fertile CM after a thermal shift for example.

I've had and seen loads of dotted line charts... they may become solid over the next couple of days... but even if they don't, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Best of Luck to you!!! And here's a ton of Baby for you!!

Same thing happend to me and I was wondering what it meant. I think it was FF trying to guess my O date.

Thanks ladies. Only my second month of temping and I'm confused.

Do you have any cm data you can add to your chart. I think that would help with the interpretation.

I'm just figuring out cm now. I started putting it in yesterday but I'm not positive I'm getting it right.

Just do the best you can with it. We have some threads in the charting school subforum. After I get back from vacation I am going to try to work on getting more info in there.

Ask questions if you aren't sure. Just record it as what you think it is and you will get better at telling the difference as you go along.
