I worked nights this weekend and we had some really late nights... normally I temp at 6am. Thursday night we didn't get in until 3am, so I set the alarm for 6am but was sleep deprived when I took my temp. Friday night we worked until 530am so I took my temp then, but when I get tired my body temp drops huge! So, I set my alarm for 3 hours later and took my temp then... which do I use because they are drastically different and it's around O time so it does make a difference! I mean, at 530 I hadn't slept at all.

Last night we worked until 330 and again I set my alarm for 6 but hardly slept due to the noise and craziness of my schedule, so maybe 2 hours of sleep if I'm lucky... so again, drastically different temps! Today was the worst difference, 97 at 6am and 97.9 at 9 when I took it at 9 after a solid few hours of sleep. How the heck do I account for this? If it were the beginning of my cycle or after O, but of course it's not

Help!

I would use the temps of when I got most solid sleep. I would discard the temp you took at 530 without ANY sleep, use the one later in the morning. I would also use the temp at 9AM. I think you may have O'd because you got a +OPK 3 days ago. Its possible you are Oing now, but I think you more than likely O'd on CD23. I think the 97.9 is probably the more accurate of the two temps. But its really hard to say! I am not sure how much help I am, but I did my best!!

I agree on throwing out the temp where you didn't have any sleep at all, and mark the other ones sleep deprived. Then just do your best to keep taking good solid temps after decent sleep from now on and if your temps are staying higher than before CD22-23ish I think FF will pick up the pattern, if not the exact day.

Thanks ladies! I was going to do that and then panicked and changed it back... I think the low temps would be way off because the one night I got home out of curiosity I took my temp and was like 96.3 which I have NEVER had a temp so low, but I know it's because I was completely exhausted. So, I laid in bed and when I still couldn't sleep 30 mins later took my temp again and it was 97.5.

I guess the other thing is that if my temps are in the lower range tomorrow, FF won't give me crosshairs anyway right?

Frustrating!!!
