So, the hospital messed up my first labs and didn't test for everything that they were supposed to. I just had my thyroid levels retested last week and just got the results back. The nurse called me today and told me that while my levels were in the normal range, they may not be good enough to get pg. ??? So confused. I have to wait for the dr to double check them and then I'll get a call back on Thursday. I guess I'll just have to do some research on thyroid levels. She said that I may have to go on medication. So we'll see. I guess since I've never had this problem, I just don't know what to expect or what will happen. Hopefully Thursday comes fast so that I can get some more answers. Anyone else have thyroid issues??
I know there are 2 thyroid tests they do. If one comes back on the low side or high side, they do the T3 T4 (I think) tests. My thyroid levels are on the low side, but the T3 T4 #s were normal so apparently I'm fine. But I have heard that in my case, you can still have thyroid issues. So, I'm sure that just confused you more, but I was able to get pregnant pretty quickly on the low end, so maybe that makes you feel better?
Good luck!
