Man today has been such a long day. The appointment went well.
This is the plan. We are going to be first of all trying out Clomid. I was not at all expecting that. I guess I just assumed that since I was ovulating I didn't need that. But, basically he said that with me only having one tube that that was cutting down my chances. He wants to be sure that I am ovulating on my left side every cycle. I hadn't really thought about it but that makes perfect sense. I am to start the Clomid on CD 3-7 and then have an ultrasound done on CD 13 or 14. I have another prescription for Ovidrel (I looked it up. I guess this is the hCG trigger shot). I bring that with me when I have my ultrasound and if my follicles look good I guess they will give it to me then.
I also am going to have another HSG (histerosalpingogram) done. This is where they inject the dye to see if your tubes are blocked. I have had this done before but he wants it done again since it has been ages ago since they did this and since I have had an ectopic since then.
I also need to get an FSH test done on CD2. I don't know that I will be able to do this next cycle because I will be on my vacation but he said I could start the Clomid now if I want and we can do the FSH test the next cycle.
We are going to do the Clomid for 3 cycles and see what happens. If I don't get pregnant in three cycles then they want dh to get a semen analysis.
I really hope the Clomid works!

That sounds like a really great appointment! Your doctor sounds super helpful and willing to work with you. I hope the clomid works right away! I would have never thought about clomid helping you ovulate each cycle with just one tube...but you're right that it totally makes sense.

YAY for a plan!!! I never would've thought about Clomid for you either, but you're right.... once it's put into that context, it does make sense.
I'm so hoping that you will get your BFP now!!
