So I had had some spotting around the 27th of Aug to the 2nd of september. I had had a biopsey a few days before, on that tuesday. So I was assuming the bleeding was from the biopsey. BUT here is the problem. I just started charting my temps and such. I haven't had a period since...july 15th, and my PCOS makes me late. But FF won't chart over 60 days of a period. Should I count that almost week-long spotting as my period, since it happened when I was about 2 weeks late? Or should I wait until I get a definitive period? The spotting did get a little heavy, but I was still using only a panti-liner. I want to be able to really start charting, and I think it would be easier if I started from that date. What should I do about this?

Hmm... that's a tough one. I'm really not sure.

I know. I just kinda want to call that my period so that it can chart everything correctly. But i don't want to change it and mess everything all up! lol. I know the bleeding could have been from that biopsey, but at the same time, it seemed like it got heavier as in a period but then it was only for that one day and got lighter again the next. Ergh.

I'd leave your chart alone and not mark it as AF. I am not sure why you are saying FF won't chart over a 60 day period. Or maybe I am misunderstanding what you are saying. When I was bfing I had one chart that was 112 days long. I didn't have AF the entire time I breastfed. I'd just leave your chart as is and see what happens.

I had seen it somewhere where it said it wouldn't do anything over 60 days. I mean, looking now, it IS charting it, but I can't remember where I saw something about not doing something over 60 days. Strange. Oh well, but I am glad that I have your opinion, Teresa, I really trust it!

I agree with Teresa. FF should let you keep your chart longer than that. I have seen lots of crazily long cycles. I would leave your chart alone and just see what happens. I don't think you will have a problem AND hopefully your cycles will start being good to you so your chart won't drive you too batty.
