Not that it matters during this phase, but I like to keep track. Has anyone else ever gotten creamy, stretchy, a little sticky CM? The past 3 days I have gotten this stretchy yellowish/whitish, sorta sticky and creamy CM. I have been marking it EWCM because it stretches pretty darn far...1 inch to a few inches. Thanks!

I haven't... but I did think I had ewcm again the other morning... but we had bd'd the night before, and as the day went on, I saw creamy like it was the day before. So it turned out I was mistaking semen for cm.
So I'm not sure sweetie. Hopefully someone else has some answers for you.

I had some pretty stretchy creamy CM. I also was confused as to how to mark it. I ended up marking it creamy.

It's perfectly normal. Partway through the LP there is a secondary estrogen surge, just a little one - not like the rise in estrogen that occurs before ovulation. This little surge can result in some more CM. The difference is that it shouldn't make you feel as wet or slippery as the CM around ovulation, it should be a drier/stickier CM. Stretchability really isn't that important, how wet it makes you feel is more important.

I noticed the same thing today. I don't usually check CM after O unless it's right there staring at me. For about 4 days I had really creamy, sticky, tacky CM and today it got a bit clearer, but stretched a bit. I just discount it because it's after O.

When you compare though, would you say you're just as wet now as you were around ovulation - or this is less wet than that?

Less wet and more wet than pre-O/after AF.

I normally get the creamy and sticky stuff, almost always yellow instead of the pre-O white. I've just started getting stuff that stretches, and it's starting to feel like leaking. When I rub it between my fingers, though, it feels more creamy than EW.

Well for a couple of days after O I was much drier than normal, but now I've got this mixture of creamy, watery & sticky all together. I too have had the wet panties thing yesterday and today. Oh the joy of going to pee and pulling up panties that then have spots that feel cold against your skin! LOL

No problem. The bottom line is that CM during the LP is normal, but it will usually make you feel (as you walk around) less wet than the fertile CM around the time of ovulation. It doesn't really matter what it looks like, just how wet it makes you feel. If it's more wet or slippery than the CM leading up to O, that can be a sign the O date may have been incorrect.

This cycle I did! I wasn't sure how to mark it either...but it was a little creamy, a teeny stretchy, but not like EWCM...but i "felt" wet...
Interestingly enough, after looking at my chart today...it happened with a temp dip on 4 DPO...wonder if that means anything?
