I feel like I need to sing "Jump Around" (one of my favorite old time college songs) to help get my temps to start rising already !!!! I'm currently CD 17 & waiting to see my temp jump up. This is my first round of Clomid so I had a feeling O may happen a little later but geesh, I got my +OPK on Monday CD 15 and for sure thought it would have risen this am, guess we'll see what tomorrow brings.....

Well instead of the temp jumping like I pretty much was counting on happening, it TOTALLY dipped ??? What the heck ??? Its now CD18 & this has never happened before. I looked just to make sure I was seeing it correctly, 96.64 and then sat up right in bed retook it and got 96.80. Hmmmm I dont know that I can depend on this darn thermometer for much help this time around ???

I think you may O today since you had a plummeting temp dip and then you had a +OPK a few days ago. I would BD today!

So just another question to throw out there...........if I DO end up with O today & the last time BD happened was 2 evenings ago, then that's probably not real fantastic. I had ZERO energy to BD last night but now am kicking myself for it. I will try real hard for BD to happen tonight however if O happens say sometime this morning or this afternoon then BD tonight isnt really effective is it ?? I still get so confused with this all.....in my head I guess I'm thinking BD must happen at least 24hrs right before O happens ... ??

What do you think ?? Possibe O on CD18 ?? Maybe CD15 was just a fluke temp or something ?? ( it also was the last day we were away on vacation-- I felt like those days CD11-15 were not really going to be dependable because of that factor)

I do not feel any different....wish my temp would really be much much higher like it usually is post O but maybe taking Clomid had that effect ? I'm still stumped !

You don't have to BD within 24 hours to get pregnant, definitely not. The three days before and the day of O are the days you want to aim for, and remember that the sperm survive for up to 5 days so they are just hanging out, waiting for that egg!

FF says once your temp goes up you are no longer fertile, but I think if you can BD the day after O that probably isn't a bad idea either. The egg survives up to 24 hrs and you don't really know exactly down to hour when it happened so it can't hurt.

Anyway, my point being if you did O on CD17, you caught 3 of those 4 important days - which equals GREAT timing!

Hope your temp jumps up again tomorrow!!

Ok so my temp finally went up around the levels it usually does after O. I believe from using FF in the past my coverline is around 97.5-97.6'ish. Check it out today...finally up and over that range. Its about time !! Now I really think I'm in the 2WW right ?? Going with CD18 as O date ???
