just got a letter in the mail that we have to go to court and that the employer is filing an appeal to take away hubby unemployment benefits.

they did this to his friend at work and she won her case.

now more of the unemployment saga. i already know that we are going to win anyways because they have nothing on him and fired him for sleeping when he was working on the computer and his eyes were opened looking at the screen.

they are going down!

I wouldn't worry too much about it. One of my last employers tried that on me, and before I even knew about the court date I was sent a letter from the judge stating they had no valid reason to lay me off. Here they can lay you off for no reason. If a business has to make cut-backs, least experienced staff member gets cut. They always try to fight the unemployment, though. You'd think they would be more aware of laws than I would being business owners and all.

Wow I hate that you are going threw that. I got it when I lost my job 2 years ago and I did not have a problem I am sure that everything will work out.
