to the Fertility Charting board... I'm Nikki and I'm happy to try and help!

1. You will get crosshairs on your chart once you've had 3 consecutive high temps. Once you have O'd & had your thermal shift, it will be followed by continued high temps. Once you've had 3 consecutive highs, FF will put crosshairs on your chart for you.

2. Yes, you can O without getting a + OPK... happens all the time. OPK's can be tricky sometimes. If you take them at the wrong time you can totally miss your LH surge. I've had cycles where I did not get a + OPK, but I had a clear thermal shift letting me know that I had indeed O'd.

If you aren't already... I'd highly recommend checking your cm. That's really the best indicator of when you are entering your fertile phase.

I hope that helps and that we get to see more of you here and get to know you much better!!

YAh Melissa!!! So excited to see you over here. The biggest advice is to take your temp at the same time every day and chart your cm. I would read over the charting school subforum and JM has a bunch of charting articles too.

I think the charting will really help you. I can't wait to stalk your chart. Be sure to add it to our chart stalking thread. I will update the thread when I get back from vacation. Also, if you can add your chart link to your sig it will help so we can stalk you!

Welcome to the board!!!

Hey Melissa! When I first saw your thread...I was like "wait, you're not new!",...but 'course then I read "...to charting". YAY! Charting will be so great...

with everything already said! And regarding positive OPKs...I rarely get them, but my temps always show the thermal shift telling me I O'ed.

Welcome to charting!!

Hey Melissa! Glad to see you over here. I took a peak at your chart. With your temp rise today you might have O'd, but you're kind of going to have to wait and see. I wouldn't be surprised if your chart took another big temp drop though before you O so I'd just keep doing what you're doing for now and assume you haven't O'd yet. I'll be stalking you to see what happens with tomorrow's temps. Good luck!
