What does the open circles mean?

It means its not 100% accurate, i.e. sleep deprived. If you mark that, it will give you an open circle.

Generally if you take your temp at a time that is different from your normal temp time, FF will give you an open circle for that day.

It is very important that you take your temp at the same time every day. If you don't your chart will not be as accurate and FF will give you an open circle on your chart.

Check to see what you set your default temp time to be and make sure you are temping as close to that time as possible.

I use my cell phone for an alarm clock and set it to really quiet. I put it next to my bed and thermometer. Then I just take my temp and go back to sleep (or get up). If it's the weekend I go right back to sleep. Since I have both right next to my bed it hasn't been hard for me to go right back to sleep. Besides I usually wake up to pee every day at about 5am anyways so I'm used to getting up and going back to sleep. (Temping before I get up of course.)
