to feel discouraged.

Todays temp went down even more.

I know it's not about individual temps... but there's been a decline happening over the past few days now. Sigh.

I'm just feeling... bummed.

Sorry you had a drop...but like you said, this has been an unusual cycle for you in a lot of ways that point to GOOD news, so don't give up hope! You may still get that BFP.

If you look at my chart before the current one, the one when I did get pregnant, I had a temp drop around CD12-13 - then it went back up! So it could happen

How are your other symptoms? Spotting? Cramping?

Candace - No, I did not test.

Jenine - Thanks for the temp info... there is always a possibility that it will go back up tomorrow... I really hope it does.

As for symptom stuff... bbs are the same, still tired, woke up at regular time, then fell back to sleep for another... hour and a half maybe? No cramping, no spotting... just that funky tan colored cm.

I'm sorry you had a temp drop. You are still high above coverline but I know how frustrating the temp drops can be when you just want a BFP.

((HUGS)) Nikki. I understand why you are discouraged. I am still crossing my fingers for you.

You really deserve your bfp. I hope it comes soon.

Nikki have you tried using Preseed and Instead cups. I really hope that this is your cycle, but I would seriously consider trying those together next cycle. Good luck hun and try not to get too discouraged. Also, if you don't mind me asking. How old are you and how many cycles have you been trying?

Symptoms sound good still, Nikki...try to ignore it (yeah, right!) and see what tomorrow brings. Sending you heat wave vibes to get that temp back up! Mine did a big jump today so maybe I am putting out some good, hot signals right now

Hang in there!!

We have used Preseed, have 3/4 of a tube right now... but not the Instead cups. I used them years ago for their original intended purpose... but never for TTC. The only reason we didn't use Preseed this month was because of all of the ewcm I made.

I just turned 35 on the 13th (DH is 31) and this is our 6th month of actively TTC.

They are these soft plasticy cups that were originally marketed as an alternative to tampons/pads during AF. You put it inside right beneath your cervix and all the "flow" collects in the cup rather than being absorbed by a tampon or leaking onto a pad.
Apparently some women are using them in TTC to keep swimmers from "falling out"

Oh Nikki! Sorry your temp is dropping....

I'm still hopeful for you this month. Oddly enough, even though we're not chart buddies this month, we're in the same boat. Both having temp drops, both having tan colored CM...no cramping, no spotting.

I either LOVE our cycle this month or HATE it.

Sending lots of your way!

Okay, now you of course can do what you want, but since you are 35 I would seriously consider setting up a fertility workup if you are not pregnant after this cycle. Under 35 you are expected to try for a full year before having a check up, but after 35 you should only wait 6 months. The older you get the harder it gets to become pregnant so I would seriously consider having a fertility check up just to rule out any potential problems if you aren't pregnant after next cycle. I say this gently as I have been on the ttc boards a long time and I know from watching that in the event that there is a problem the younger you are to look into things the better it is for you. There is a high chance that there is no problems and that it's just a matter of time, but I still felt like I should put this out there.

I would definitely try using Instead cups this cycle and Preseed as well. You are clearly ovulating and I know for me my quality of cm is not as good as it was when I was younger so I think it'd be something to definitely add in. Hopefully, you will just get a bfp in the next couple days and I made this post for nothing, but I would feel guilty if I didn't at least throw this info at you and have you at least think about setting up a fertility workup.

Nikki, I agree with Teresa. I do think you still have a shot. Your temps aren't AS high as they were but they are still WAY above cover.

But if you've been trying for 6 months, it can't hurt to see the doctor. I would think the initial visit and some testing would be covered by insurance. I know my dr told me b/c of my age (35) if it didn't happen in 3 months to come back and see him. I do have possible endometriosis which is probably part of the reason he wanted to see me so quickly. But maybe there's a simple issue that could be fixed quickly and easily. Or maybe you will find nothing wrong, but at least you would know. And, really, nothing could be wrong. I think I read you have a 15% chance of conceiving each cycle at our age so it might just take a while.

HUGS!!! And I hope your temp goes WAY up tomorrow!!!!

DH and I always said that we'd see a doctor if we were unable to conceive by the 6 month mark. So none of you are upsetting me by mentioning that... it was always part of the plan, just hoping we wouldn't need to use that plan.
