I'm so frustrated right now-my lp last cycle was 3 days long! My chart was doing so well then bam AF shows and she's been insanley heavy this month! I had gone for a progesterone blood test friday and now have to do my cd 3 blood test tomorrow. I had a bad experience last week with a new gyn that I was trying out and now have to go back to my GP to ask for a new one. I'm thinking that maybe the Clomid is messing with my cycle even more.
Oh wow, that is horrible! I've never heard of a LP that short I hope you get someone that is much nicer to you this time! I live close enough... I could come down there and be your bouncer if you need it!
That's awesome! You can totally be my bouncer!
I spoke with one of my girlfriends as she gave me a bunch of names to bring to my doctor. I'm calling in the morning to try to get the new referal. Hopefully I don't have to wait too long. In the meantime I guess I just keep going to my regular doctor and wait for my results. I hate waiting! I'm so impatient! Seriously I almost feel like I'm going backwards!
I was diagnosed with a progesterone deficiency after my second miscarriage and was on supplements throughout the first trimester of my third pregnancy (which finally gave us our son). Definitely have yourself checked but the problem for you will be that OBs like to call this this CD 21 test because they assume you ovulate on CD 14. If you haven't O'd yet (and according to your chart, you would not have), it won't help. You need to have the test done 7DPO (and if you did O last cycle, you didn't make it that far). You should discuss this with your doctor. Also, looking at your chart, I'm not convinced that you did O last cycle. Why did you discard so many of those earlier temperatures? If you include them, does FF give you coverlines?

Thanks girls. The temps I discarded were cause I was super sick with a cold and had a really bad fever. I'm calling my doctor this morning and going for my blood test today at lunch. Hopefully I can get some help soon.

Will your doctor give you progesterone without having a cd21 test? Some doctors will give it without the blood work. Most won't, but some will. It just seems something easy enough to try and see if it helps. I don't know why they'd be so reluctant to try. I'd try flat out asking for it and being pushy too. It might not work, but I'd try.
I had my progesterone tested.I had to call once I got a positive OPK and then 7 days after that they did a blood test.I know you might not make it that long but at least they can see how low it is.There may be other tests they will run since it's only 3 days.I would print your charts too, just so they can see that the OPK's confirm ovulation.I bet the first thing they will do is offer Clomid to move you O date up,that can lengthen your LP.
