Things are a little out of sorts. I have learnt from some very helpful ladies on here already that it is probably my thermometer. So I have bought myself a new one! I made sure this one was a digital basal thermometer. So now I am waiting so start my next cycle before I actually use it for a chart measurement. I have been temping in the morning with both just because I wanted to see how far out my first thermometer was.....holy cow was it ever. This morning for example I charted that my temp was 97.7 and my new BTT said 96.602...quite a difference!

Its frusterating that AF hasn't showen up so I can start a new cyle (something I never thought I would say.....hahahaha). I have been off the pill for 9 months now. I have PCOS so I am trying to get my cycles some what normal. Some times they are a 30 day cycle and then sometimes I go 60 days +! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Makes me very frustrated!!!!!! I feel like I have all signs that AF is coming.....cramps, mood swings, irritability.....all my normal signs but nothing has shown up..............

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?????? I am taking 1000mg of Metformin a day. This is my first month of actually TTC. I need to go back to the doctor in the next couple of weeks to get my prescription refilled. I am thinking of asking about clomid? any thoughts on that?

First off, welcome!! The ladies here are very supportive and just an all around great group!
Hmmmmm.....it looks like your cycle MAY be annovultory (sp?)? I know you said your cycles could range from 30-60 days....so its really hard to say. I would stick with what your regular therm said, just because thats what you have used the entire cycle. KWIM? Have you used OPKs? I dont know enough about POAS or Clomid to really help, but I am sure one of the other ladies will chime in shortly. GL!

I am having an odd cycle myself.I have gotten a positive OPK on CD27 &CD28,Last month it was on CD17 & CD18.So it can vary month to month.Hang in there,you are probably having a long cycle.Only time will tell.

If your cycles are running that long, I don't think it'd hurt to ask your doctor for clomid. He/she might say no, but might say yes. I think if AF hasn't shown by your doctors appt and you haven't O'd I'd ask for some provera and see what he/she has to say about trying clomid.

Candace......I am going to stick with my original thermometer until my next cycle starts....(whenever that will be.....hahaha).
Teresa....I will definatly check with my doc. I have no problem asking, your right all he can say is "no" and if I don't get the results I want I have no problem asking and asking until I do. I believe that no one is in control of my health but me!!!!!
