I don't know what the heck my temps are doing this month.
My temps did the whole decline thing... but they've still not gone below last month's cover line. By this point of my cycle, I'm usually in the low 97's. That hasn't happened yet.
At the earliest, I will O in 5 days. If my temps stay up like this, I'm really wondering what my LP temps are gonna be like. WTH!?!?!

Hmmmm, that is odd. Maybe different IS good?
That happened to me one month, so (stupidly), i pulled up the month before chart, and added that months temps onto the end (as if AF never arrived). It was fun to look at, but didn't make me very happy at the same time~

Maybe it is to do with the temperature change with the seasons? Perhaps you're bundling up more at night? Not sure, i remember FF had something about seasonal temp changes but I forget what it said. Hope this difference is lucky for you Nikki!!! We wanna see your this month!

Ugh. If I had a dollar for every time I've heard the "maybe different is good" line... I'd be able to buy enough digi OPK's to not have to squint at lines anymore! Different has yet to be good.
Geez... I'm feeling pessimistic and I haven't even O'd yet. This should be a fantastic cycle.

Hmmmmm....that is weird. Maybe its the change in weather? Well, I am assuming weather is changing there, it has in Georgia. But I agree, change is good!!!

Maybe... the FF article said that during the colder months of the year temps were found to be slightly higher and during the warmer months temps were slightly lower. The opposite of what you'd logically expect. One would think if it's colder out, your temps would be lower and vice versa...

That's my bundling up theory...I think my temps go up in the winter because I'm piled under blankets and I usually wake up all hot. Who knows! It's a theory anyway, I'm stickin' to it

blah, i know how you feel. Remember me having this same convo last month. Lets see...this is exactly why i am so happy to not be temping!!
Love you nikki! Its all good girl!
BTW, my temps did crazy things where they were super high for a couple months and now they've gone back down i guess. idk anymore. Its all so relative. Remember its not the temps that matter, but the pattern!

Hey Nikki, very sorry to hear you're not feeling optimistic this time. By try #6 I'm sure it is hard to (((HUGS)))
If it makes you feel any better, I ran your cumulative probability, given a 20% chance of conceiving on each cycle (so assuming everything is normal with you, just bad luck so far)...your chances of conceiving this cycle would be 73.8%
Try to stay positive, I hope the stats pan out for you this month! COME ON BFP!

My temp shifted about 2 cycles ago. Now my pre O temps are above my old cover line. Weird! And I second Patty on seeing a specialist. It has been such a positive experience for me.

Sorry for being such a Debbie Downer. I think the amount of time we've been at it and feeling like I'm the only one not getting a BFP was just getting to me a bit.
I am feeling better today. Temps took some baby steps in the downward direction this morning... so let's hope that trend continues.
Kate - I hear ya on the pattern. The general pattern has been a declining one... Maybe this will be like July's chart where my temps were up and then dropped down over the course of 4 days or so.
Jenine - I'm totally digging the scientific approach! Now those are some odds I can get happy about!!
As far as the doctor/specialist thing... DH and I are in a new state, so we are trying to find a doctor who is accepting new patients. I don't know how long it will be until I can actually get in to see them, but I am working that angle as well.
Thanks for the lift-up. Some days are just a bit bluer than others...
